Why is my completed booking showing as Pending?

A booking is marked as consumed or completed within 3-4 days after checkout if payment was made directly to Expedia Group at the time of booking. 

For "pay at hotel" bookings, where payment is made to the hotel upon the guest's arrival, the status update may take up to 60 days due to longer hotel confirmation times.
